I like Denver International Airport.
DIA is very commercialized and modern. I fly through there a couple of times a year on my way to and from visiting my parents. I actually like DIA because of it's ease of navigation. It's also nicer than most of your European Airports.
There are many restaurants, and shops, along with art lining the walls of the corridors. Here is their official site for your reference:
http://www.flydenver.com/
There is a website that talks about the rumors surrounding DIA.It contains questions asked to the DIA public relations department, and their replys. http://www.freepressinternational.com/denver.html
One website http://www.mt.net/~watcher/denverairportfloordeciphered.html
says this: Art Bell once went on a tour of the Denver Airport. He claims he asked his tour guide about mysterious happenings at the DIA, and his guide responded that most of the rumors were true. In case you get a chance to look around, this site that will show you the supposed "conspiracy theory" art work scattered throughout the airport.
Here is where you can see some of the artwork from the DIA page itself.

My Favorite is Phoenix International.
It is huge but easy to get around as the have conveyor belts between the wings. They are huge flat belts similar to an escalator but they lay flat and you stand on it and it pulls you along. The airport is full of these and so you go a long distance but you dont have to walk that far.
Plus I love all the shops as many are SouthWestern and they have lots of cactus and coyotees. You can buy most anything having to do with the West and the Desert like even 20 types of salsa. And lots of indian crafts and silver jewelry.
One time I was at this airport waiting to board my plane. It was July which is hot in the desert, 115 degrees that day. No problem I was indoors and it was nice. But right before my eyes I saw a huge massive dust storm swoop in over Phoenix and the airport. I was sick as I did not want to fly during that. You could not see anything out of the big windows. We watched the local news and the dust storm took over that whole West side of Phoenix and they were advising people to no go outdoor and not to drive their cars. Planes were grounded for an hour and then it was gone.
It was just like the huge sand storm you saw on the movie Hildago.
Never seen nothing like it.

I think all airports are interesting, but my absolute favorite has to be -hands down- Seattle. Nothing better then getting off a red-eye flight and being greeted by the smells of all different kinds of coffee (and I don't even drink coffee!) It's fantastic! The low-lighting and cafe-style restaurants add the ambiance of that airport.
As for neat things- the Detroit airport, even as small as it is, has a really neat tram that runs through the airport, but sits up high- near the ceiling, as it passes through. Very neat.
I wish we had public sidewalks like most airports- the kinds that move for you. I'm so lazy! *L*

Hong Kong International Airport. Well because everytime i have transfer flights and we have a stop over in hong kong, i just don't get bored. There's a lot of stuff to do and that airport is just big! And besides they have very nice first class lounges in The Wing and The Pier for Cathay Pacific.

Toss up between Port au Prince, Haiti or Baku, Azerbaijan.
Both are Grade A $hitholes. At least Haiti offered great rum in the airport Duty Free shop.

LAX... its like its own city. Has its own zip code too. My home town airport is .. I think the 4th busiest in the country, but still its not anything like LAX. And besides, when waiting for my flight out, which seems to usually take place the a day or two before Oscar Awards night, its a great place to "people watch." You never know who you see coming into the terminals.

Last time I flew into Billings, it looked like a wild life exhibit. It was small, but sort of neat. Chicago OHare has great bars and great bartenders. The drinks were exspensive, but there was like three shots in each one (Our flight was delayed on New Years Eve=( ).

i would have to go with the hong kong one. There is a nice video explaining saftey issues with pigs as the main characters. Also, when you see hong kong, its all nice and friendly. but right when you get over to mainland china, the air condition, personalitys, and over all mood/flavor changes compleatly

I like O'hare best. I was there in 2005, connecting to Boston, and I just loved the Gershwin playing overhead when I got there.
