I am in college and doing some community service work at a kindergarten school. I watch over the ages 2-4 and i constantly see the teachers hitting the children in the forehead, knocking them in their back. I can tIruly say no one has ever hit me that hard that you could say a yard away and hear a teacher know a child in their backs. i sometimes am sick to go there because of all the abuse. I saw this 2year old child that they were forcing to eat her lunch that she vomited. Iam so tempted to slap the teacher across her face but i have to remember what i was there for. I try my best to treat them with love. Should i wait until i leave in a couple of weeks or say something now and be on bad terms with all the evil teachers. Today a lady from the Ministry of Education gave them a surprise visit that i was so shocked to see how they spoke properly to the children, but as they lady left, they transformed... What to do?

Go to your local Child Services Department and tell them what you have witnessed especially the transformation they pulled on the Ministry of Education. They will do surprise visits and more. Also Child services keeps all complaintants confidential let it all out!

Trying to get the abuse on cam is , I think, the best idea. it appears to me that these teachers feel they are "safe" from punishment for some reason. Are you the first person to work there with those teachers? It could be that these teachers have been turned in before and either the complaints were ignored, or the teachers were able to prove that they were not being abusive. Report the incidents yourself, and then start gathering evidence. Talk to parents, ask them to talk to their children (even a child as young as 2 can answer simple questions about whether or not someone has hurt them) If you do go with trying to video tape the abuse, remember it must be recorded with no sound (you need permission from the teachers to record their voices, which obviously they won't give) and best of luck to you.

How can you have watched this and not reported it? If it is as widespread as you say, I don't think going to the school administration would work. YOU MUST GO TO THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY! These children need protection, and need it now. There is also the chance that, if someone else reports this situation, you will be in trouble for not speaking out.

Don't worry about being "on bad terms with the evil teachers". More people will applaud you than blame you when you stand up for these poor children.

You need to report this. It is also a crime to watch this happening and not take action. This place seems like it needs to be shut down. You will not hurt your college credits, your school will understand. If that were your child what would you do??? Please do the children justice and report this immediately, most reporting agencies will keep your information confindential. Make a log and track everything that you remember according to date. IF you do go ahead and report this You KNOW you are being true to yourself and the children. As a Social Worker I am giving you this advise. Be an advocate for the children, if you don't protect them who will, these children are vulnerable they are gifts from the Lord!!! Please make the right decision. You can also explain this to your professor who could help make the call or get in contact with someone who could help. For the sake of the innocent children PLEASE REPORT THE ABUSE

With my thoughts and my mom being a teacher I can honestly say that is not what they are supposed to do my mom is the best teacher and they love her.Go to the principal or police cause if the kids are getting hurt that badly it isn't good.Or you know what keep a book with the kids names and the dates and times and if more than 5 children are being abused numerous times a day then do something because i had a abusive babysitter and she hit my head on the wall and i still have a scar.So do something because i was only 4 yrs old and i remember it like it just happened 2 seconds earlier. So i don't know what you should do just to something for the kids.not like the teachers will say anything.

# 1 you need to tell someone in authority, and notify the parents of these children you have witnessed abuse of, & notify the police.
and of course love the children & help them they are small and they need the help, they cant defend themselves this small,

hitting or slapping the teachers around the children would cause a scene and probable look bad for the children as well,
never wait or hesitate when you see abuse, you get help ASAP
SAVE A CHILD SAVE ALIFE
ABUSE IS NOT TOLERATED!!!

Dont worry about those Bad teacher what they think or say
Do whats best for the childrens safety & health

I don't think that you should wait! You need to tell on them immediately!!!! Think about it! What if it was your child being treated like that!!! These people don't deserve to teach let alone be around children of any age!!!!!!!!! Just because the children are young doesn't mean that their not human or that they don't have feelings! These children need someone to look up to and protect them when their not with a parent!!!

You report them right away! who cares if you are on bad terms with these women. What are they going to do to you? your a grown woman they can't push you around like they can a 2 year old. It's your job to report these women. These kids can't stand up for themselves they need your help. Now do the right thing and step up NOW!!! You need to take these women aside one day and tell them that you are going to be reporting them! Tell them how you feel about how they treat the children. But you most definatly need to come forward now. Don't let this go on another day.

You absolutely need to report this to Child Welfare Authorities. You have a moral obligation and possibly a legal one to report. If you're in Canada you can be charged with failure to report if you don't. I'm not sure of the law in the States. Just think of the parents of those children. If someone were doing that to your child wouldn't you want someone to speak up!!!!!!!!!!

If it is a private school, you need to address it with both the principal and the Department of Human Services. If it is a public school, try the principal first, then contact the school board and notify the superintendent. If you don't feel any of them address it seriously enough, then you'll need to contact human services. Whatever the situation, you have an obligation to act on behalf of those children.
