The problem with Christianity is not that it is wrong about "truth". It is that they are hopelissly inslaved, and thus forget there humanity by having their morals betten into them.

I did not read your entire "ghost" diatribe because your initial question is so blatantly false.
Jesus is not the Holy Spirit.
they are two didstict parts of the Holy Trinity.
The Holy Spirit is not a ghost.
there are no such things as ghosts.
I do not see the word "ghost" mentioned anywhere in the following definitions of the word "spirit", do you?
spir·it (sprt)
NOUN:
The vital principle or animating force within living beings.
Incorporeal consciousness.
The soul, considered as departing from the body of a person at death.
Spirit The Holy Spirit.
A supernatural being, as:
An angel or a demon.
A being inhabiting or embodying a particular place, object, or natural phenomenon.
A fairy or sprite.
The part of a human associated with the mind, will, and feelings: Though unable to join us today, they are with us in spirit.
The essential nature of a person or group.
A person as characterized by a stated quality: He is a proud spirit.
An inclination or tendency of a specified kind: Her actions show a generous spirit.
A causative, activating, or essential principle: The couple's engagement was announced in a joyous spirit.
spirits A mood or an emotional state: The guests were in high spirits. His sour spirits put a damper on the gathering.
A particular mood or an emotional state characterized by vigor and animation: sang with spirit.
Strong loyalty or dedication: team spirit.
The predominant mood of an occasion or a period: "The spirit of 1776 is not dead" (Thomas Jefferson).
The actual though unstated sense or significance of something: the spirit of the law.

It sounds like someone talked to to many mental Christians. I believe all these things exsist but Jesus is not the Holy Ghost. This ghost also refered to as 'A' spirit does exsist in all of us including Jesus. The spirit also refered as our soul is with God when we die or as many think is in a state of unconciousness when we die waiting until the day of judgement. We live in a complex universe that only God understands. There are living non visable entitys everywhere. In areas where a consentration of energy exist, these entitys can become illuminated to a visable form. Being a entity of non matter, they have the ability to take a form and mimic visable forms. They are most likely to only mimic us during the time of increased energy. Times of rage, yelling, killing, distress, kids playing. That is why many people claim to see ghost doing these things. The entitys are just repeating our actions, sometimes for a 1000 years. They are not dead people or anything to do with the dead. But naturally when we see our dead child playing on the playground where he always played, we assume it is the ghost of our child. I prefer to keep Ghost and Spirit separate as Ghost refering to the living entitys and Spirit refering to the Holy Spirit. To bad there are millions of people including Christian that can not understand this. Most Christians will even deny the posibility. I'm glad the Holy Spirit dwells within me. Without it, ignorance takes over. TRULY believe in God and the love will begin to indwell you and your eyes will become open (speaking to everyone).

I know in your simplistic mind you did not ask a question, but let me reply to a few of your misnomers. Just because you cannot or do not SEE something does not mean it does not exist. You do not SEE oxygen, but I know you believe it to be all around you because you can breathe without any help! By the same token Faith is not something you see, it's something you believe without having to see. Because you ridicule that which you do not have full comprehension, you reduce YOURSELF to someone who may be AFRAID of religion because your understanding is hampered by your blind-sightedness.
But we are not here on earth to judge each other's beliefs. Our actions tell the world what kind of person each of us is. You will be judged, when your time comes, by your actions and reactions. Where is your diversity tolerance? Can you not accept that others do not believe as you do? It doesn't make one "bad" who cannot comprehend what others take on Faith. It only matters how that person treats others and if he does the right thing by humanity. We know right from wrong. Why not try to just chill and be open-minded. We all can co-exist without forcing one another to think as we do. We are all unique, miracles in our own right, and have great compassion. We can and should try to make the world a better place by just living.....

You are not condemned by what you call the simple minds of religious fools, you are condemned by your own unwillingness to believe. You can't see an entity beyond reality because you haven't faced your sin and seen how exceedingly sinful it is and as an Atheist you haven't acknowledged that there is a God and he is a righteous and holy God and your sin stands between you and him. By believing in the sacrifice that Jesus made for your own personal sin on the cross your sin is cancelled out, but it's there between you and God until you repent and believe. It's there whether you acknowledge it or not. You will stand before God on the judgment day whether you acknowledge him or not.

The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity of God. God has three aspects, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You seems to call it ghost, which is still acceptable. YOUR definition of ghost is someone who has died and their spirit remains on the earth to haunt everyone. The Holy Spirit is the part of God that resides in Christians. You obviously haven't thoroughly researched this subject. Yes, we believe in angels (followers of God who are in heaven) demons (Followers of the devil and reside in hell and walk among the earth) No we do not "believe" in witches, but there is definitely witchcraft out there, but it is from Satan. When you follow Satanists, you are exposed to those things, don't EVER dabble in them, they are very real. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, No one will go to the Father except through Him.
Accept Jesus as your Savior, he died on the cross to save you, to forgive you of your sins.

IN JESUS call. "flow ye consequently, and coach all countries, baptizing them interior the call of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28:19 word that the word call is singular . . . one call. The words Father, Son and Holy Ghost are titles, no longer names. In Acts 2:37 They asked the Apostles what they'd desire to do, and Peter mentioned: "REPENT, and be BAPTIZED each physique of you interior the call of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive THE present OF THE HOLY GHOST." - Acts 2:38 what's the call of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost? Peter knew, and the different Apostles status there with him knew. This call is JESUS! "comprehend ye no longer, that a lot of people as have been BAPTIZED into JESUS Christ have been baptized into his death?" Romans 6:3 "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all interior the call of the Lord JESUS.." Colossians 3:17

To say that the term "Holy Spirit" is indicative of ghosts is to say that Hawaiians eat feces, because of the poo-poo platter.
Be serious.

its called the holy trinity, god the father, spirit, and son. please don't go around insulting something that you have not comfimed. and what you're saying of ghosts, are evil spirts. which are the opposite of the holy spirit. also explained as spirts with the absence of God. like darkness is the absence of light. coldness is the absence of heat
