The best (and probably the most expensive) chocolatier in New York is Teuscher on 61st and Madison.
Jacques Torres - Water Street, Brooklyn and Chocolate Haven at 350 Hudson Street
Li-Lac Chocolates - Eighth Avenue and Jane Street; also a branch in Grand Central Station
Evelyn's, downtown on John and Broadway (the most incredible marzipan - the smell makes me weak in the knees)
Godiva (all over the city) makes excellent truffles

It is worth taking a (subway or water taxi) ride to DUMBO for Jaques Torres. His chocolate is amazing, and it is right near Grimaldis, some of the best pizza in New York. There is a small art gallery and an independent ice cream shop right nearby, too - they are all located right near the DUMBO water taxi dock.
The Chocolate Bar in Manhattan is also fantastic, and JT does have a Manhattan location.

run, don't walk...to Kee's at 80 Thompson Street in SoHo. The chocolates are amazing, as is the variety...especially the Asian inspired nirvanas such as Thai Chili Dark Chocolate, Lemongrass Mint, Honey Saffron and Tamarind Dark Chocolate. You'll both be hooked. Get there tomorrow early or it's lights out...

There are the two white and black cakes and that they have got diverse seasons. the main suitable thank you to have them is the least confusing. Paper skinny slices over pasta tossed in butter or folded into an omelet basically as you get rid of it from the warmth are 2 classic techniques. You by no potential prepare dinner cakes. seem to gourmand shops for cakes. they're seasonal. they might desire to be sparkling. you would be able to desire to apply them rapidly. they're of path very high priced this way.
