Believe it or not water helps. Because it dilutes the gastric juices. I used to have all those stomach upsets, but since I started drinking 2 gallons of water a day, it has all disappeared. Also for vitamins and minerals, take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2 x day. You will be fine by drinking 6-8 glasses of water. Water wil not hurt, it is a cure. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals. Read about apple cider vinegar on the web. Try reading the water cure.

There are. One is to lose weight if you are over weight. I lost 110 pounds ten years ago, & haven't been bothered by acid reflux since then, not even once.

If you are not over weight eating smaller meals more often will keep the volume of you stomach lower so that it will be less likely to pass the contents back into the esophagus.

Also remaining upright will also reduce the pressure on the valve between the stomach & the esophagus. Standing works best, but sitting upright in a straight backed chair will work nearly as well.

Avoid fatty foods, chocolate, sauce and citrus juices. Don't eat right before bed. And don't lay down right after eating. Milk helps, and tums do work well. I hope it helps
