How soon can you shower after painting the bathroom? Will the moisture/heat mess up the paint?

Keep it well ventilated for about 12 hours until the paint sets up real well. You can shower immediately as long as you don't allow steam to build up, ventilation is the key.

It depends on the paint you use,If you used a latex paint, if your in and out fairly quick you can go over night. If you used and oil based paint wait 24 hours. Also any perfume or scented oils put in prior to the paint drying will actually bond to the paint, so watch what you put in there until it dries.
