No you didn't ruin everything. Figure out why you needed to have three slices. Were you upset about something? Were you bored? Were you stressed out or angry? Were you happy? If you are an emotional eater (which lots of people are), you eat no matter what you are feeling. Listen to your body. When you reach for something to eat, ask yourself, "am I really hungry?". Before you put anything into your mouth, ask yourself that question. If you aren't hungry and you find yourself reaching for food, go for a walk, or read a book. Do anything to divert your attention away from the food. So you had three slices of pizza. Start fresh tomorrow. Don't knock yourself for being human. Don't give up either. We all have setbacks.

Diets do not work since 99% of the people gain the weight back. That is why America is the fattest society to ever exist. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad fats, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event. Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. BMI calculator to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age).

If you follow a rule of 80/20, you will have success in your diet. Otherwise, if you keep to your diet 80 percent of the time you can allow yourself "bad" things 20 percent. This will help overcome the psychological effect of binge eating (when you completely loss it and stop dieting)

Don't expect to be perfect while trying to eat better.... There is no such thing as being perfect...you have to learn what makes you lose weight and do more of it.... If you need to be perfect on your diet so it can work then it is the wrong one for you.

one splurge like that shouldnt make too much of a difference, as long as thats not how you ate all day long. try to compensate for it if you can, but overall its not gonna blow everything you've worked for so far
