What is the difference between a Normal Virgin and Extra Virgin?
Is it virgin Guys, Gals or Olives ? How would you know if the Olive is a Virgin?

There are three pressings of the olives when producing olive oil. Extra virgin is from the first pressing, virgin is from the second, and plain olive oil is fromthe third. There are more nutrients and flavor within the first pressings. All olives are virgins before they are pressed supposedly.

LOL.........Extra Virgin Olive Oil is cold pressed and it's the very first pressing of the olives and it contains about 1 percent acid. It's the finest friutiest of the olive oils and is more expensive.

The quality of oil obtained from the first press is far superior to that obtained from later extractions,hence it is a favored grade & is called extra virgin olive oil,i haven't heard this term being used in any other context.

It's from the very first press of the olives, With each subsequent press, the quality of the oil diminishes. The final pressing must be done with the addition of chemicals, and is used only over high heat, but has no olive taste.

No, it is just he oil taken from the first pressing for oil.

Olives are pressed several times and they are un-blended that is why they are called extra-virgin olive oil.

its the oil that comes from the first press of the olive, and it has a different texture than other types of olive oil

ITS THE FIRST COLD PRESSED OIL THEN THEY DO ANOTHER PRESS WHICH ISNT EXTRA VIRGIN. EXTRA VIRGIN OIL IS HEAVIER AND RICHER AND HAS MORE FLAVOR. NOW FOR THE VIRGINS - - - YOULL HAVE TO TRAVEL THERE AND TAKE YOUR PICK- - - IM SURE THERE WILL BE " EXTRAS"
