How do you rinse something that's finely chopped and in a cohoerent pieces?

If you were to make your own ground meat, you'd buy a chunk of whatever type of meat, rinse it, very quickly brown it on ALL sides, and then start grinding it. That way, you'd have not only rinsed everything off, but cooked just the surface as well, in case you missed rinsing a spot.

That is, if you insist on consuming rotting flesh.

Chicken, steak roast and chops are solid pieces of meat and hamburger is ground, it would fall apart and you would have a mess to contend with!

You really shouldn't rinse all those meats. The germs on the outside can get pushed inside by the action of the water and your hands. If they are all basically on the outside the heat gets to them fast and they die easier. Go to a good food safety website (anything that ends in .gov) All meat should not be washed

You don't have to rinse anything but chicken and turkey. I never rinse steaks, roasts, and chops.

I've never thought about it before. Interesting question, though. I don't know. Maybe it's because it's mushy, or maybe the groomers of the cows take care of it and clean it 4 us.
