have liked him for a long time now and I finally told him. He said he wasnt going to tell but the next day he did tell. It upset me and I let him know that. I felt really guilty about it and apoligized about a million time. He admitted that he made a mistake. We are friends again and we talk and he stares at me a lot and smiles at me in the hallway, and I still like him but he has a younger and really mean girlfriend. He told one of his friends that he doesnt really like his girlfriend. I still like him, so what should I do after he breaks up with his mean girl friend? Thanks for the advice. : )

You apologized for telling him that you were upset that he did what you specifically asked him NOT to do? You felt guilty about being upset? You have some work to do on your self-esteem. You had every RIGHT to be upset at him, and he admitted he made a mistake. So stop this guilt-trip stuff (I assume that you do it at other times.....remember that you've got equal rights with every other kid at your school)

Let's see how long it takes him to break up with his mean girlfriend after telling a friend that he doesn't like her anymore. That'll tell you how controlling she is and how much spine he has. Let him make the first move after he breaks up. He knows that you're interested, and if he's interested, or brave enough, he'll approach you. Be prepared for her to bad-mouth both of you if you and he are seen within 5 feet of each other in the near future. Be thick-skinned about it. Sounds like it is something that you need to develop.

If your friendship means a lot then keep that first and foremost.
Secondly, a guy who lets those kind of feelings out about his girlfriend isn't that good of a boyfriend. How do you know that if he was dating you he wouldn't be saying the same stuff behind your back. You already know that he has a big mouth.
Finally, you let him know how you feel. Unless you meet someone else your feelings aren't going to change. Keep things cool but don't make an advance. Let him make the next move and you'll then be in a position to decide if he's really what you want.

Don't wait till her break up with her. Take what you want. Hang out with him. Talk to him on the phone. Start hanging with him like you are going out and soon enough you will be. Make your intentions crystal clear - through actions. Make him make a decision and give him something to appreciate in your relationship. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you wait around for something to happen it is out of your hands and you may never get the results you had hoped for. Make the situation happen.

After he breaks up with his mean girlfriend try to talk to him. Give him some space and then make a move. I mean if he keeps looking at you thats means he likes you. GOOD LUCK!

Let him come on to you. He was a jerk earlier and you just need to wait for him to make the first move. He'll do it when it's right. he's the man. It's their job.

yea he is taken so i would just be friends. regardless if he says she is mean, you dont know what they do behind closed doors. he could be just venting on one part of her personality.
