I have been facing issues with constipation for several months, and I've been wondering if it is going to cause me to gain weight. (I still excersize regularly and eat healthily, and so far I have no signs of gaining weight..)

First of all are you constipated or have you just not had a bowel movement? Big difference. If you are constipated then I would suggest a tea called "CHINA SLIM TEA" http://www.fashiondrv.com/fdrv/iitem.jsp?p=3&c=932
come's in a small box and a large box. I have never heard of it causing weight gain, however if you are compacted then you may have a couple of extra punds reistering on the scale.

The average person has any where from 5-20 pounds of compaction in there system, and this does add weight to the scale, and your body can react to the issue of constipation and cause bloating. bloating is generally caused by food sensitivity's, basically an issue your body has with a food that you have eaten, causing gas and or bloating. Although most don't SEE an issue with weight gain, your body will build up compaction in your system, it is advisable to do a colon cleanse periodically, kind of like changing the oil in your car. The following is a great link I have found, that has allot of good information:

My job requires me to talk to people with this type of issue all day long, this is a very common issue, especially here in America!

Good luck to you, the only thing I can suggest, read as much as you can, knowledge is Power!

Yes it can. There is a connection besides the foods that constpate you are fattening. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad fats, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event. Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. it cant make you gain weight the same way that fatty foods does.... its going to add weight to your body and once you have a bowel movement it will go simple as that. if its a general consitpation issue with no other factors try eating more fibre and take a laxitive.
