Every party i go to i always end up drunk as hell and have a massive hangover the next day.

Hmm well if you aren't interested in not drinking or getting new friends that will respect your decision not to get plastered, I would suggest just nursing a drink for awhile. I don't think they could really keep track of how much you have had. Particularly if they are getting smashed.

I take it there is probably no way to convince you that you shouldn't worry about not looking like you're keeping up.

Keeping a beer in hand and drinking it slow probably looks just the same. If its really a problem, then make sure your throw away your beers, so no one can keep track of how much you've been drinking..then while on your second you can say you're on your 6th.

Water up before hand. If you know you're gonna drink, have a few extra glasses of water than your normally would earlier in the day. Should help with the hangover and maybe cut on the drunkeness a bit.

I'd eat before hand too, not too close or you'll end up just puking from being too full, but it should help by absorbing some of the alcohol.

Snack while you drink.

I'd say by sticking to beer, you'll just slow yourself down by being too full.

If you do liquor, no shots.....or pour your own shots and cut it with water. If yo'ure sneaky, it'll look like you're keeping up but not really.

Mixed drinks, if everyoen is putting two or 3 shots, you can put half or 1 shot...no one has to know.

I'd also go with vodka and orange juice. But get the pulpy orange juice. Again it'll make you full and you'll slow yourself down.
Really though, whatever it is, if you make your own, you could probably get away with putting no alcohol in it.

Could also pull the trigger and puke. I haven't done this in a while, but normally i realize i had the one drink too many.... right away, say i have to pee and then pull the trigger....by the second gag, it comes up....Quick mouth rinse and a smoke and no one knows.

Instead of pulling the trigger, just complain about breaking the seal too early and go to the bathroom after each drink.....then drink a few handfuls of water.

There's no point in drinking to keep up. Once you feel good, then you're good. Its cheaper too if you drink a lot.

Before you go, eat A LOT of rice. Have some protein with it, like a little chicken or beef. That rice will help soak up the alcohol and you can pretty much drink all night. Believe me, my boyfriend and I have done this, and we were TRYING to get drunk. We were steady at 4:30 A.M. , and we were doing shots. Have fun and be careful.

besides not drinking at all you could have a drink, then something non alcoholic, then a drink and then two somethings that are non alcoholic and maybe one more drink with alcohol, to enforce this, have a friend (preferably one who wont get considerably drunk) just watch and monitor what you drink, if you succesfully dont have a hangover the next day find something to reward yourself with
*good luck!

Don't drink on an empty stomach, and drink slowly. If you have one drink an hour, you could probably drink all night and not get drunk. I would try to avoid mixed drinks, since you don't know exactly how much alcohol is in them.

Three (maybe four if you're bigger) drinks should be fine. Unless if you're a super lightweight, you should get a small buzz on three, and you'll always have a beer in hand. I know if I go over five, a not so pleasant morning is on the way.

Fake it. Friends of mine use to pretend to drink then go to the bathroom and spill out half there drink in the toilet/sink all night long. The next day they would exaggerate how much they drank.

You don't need any tips if you can drink 12 beers in an hour.
