ok well this equation can be used quite easily here is how lets say it takes 10 men to dig a hole how long would each of them take. so then it would be 120 minutes (60 min+60 min) wich would be each man would take 12 minutes right.... so then if 1 man is digging 1/2 hole it would be 12 divided by 2 which would equal 6 minutes

2 hours....mathematically...
2 men dig 1 hole in 2 hours....
thus 2 men will dig 1/2 hole in 2/2=1 hour.....
now 1 man will dig that 1/2 hole in 1*2=2 hours.....answer....;-)

if there is something called 1/2 hole, then it'll take 2 hours. Personally, i haven't heard of a 1/2 hole.
