Equals means that everyone is looked at the same wy. It means that no discrimination,racism,stereotypes will be used. It means(math) that2 or more values have the same value and they are interchangeable. (relates to the social defintion as well)

If some thing is equal it means that they are the same in the prescribed topic or area. Equal amounts of a substance means that they each have the same weight OR volume.
To have equality means to be afforded the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. It is a mater of fairness not a matter of having all the same.
