Go with a dark charcoal. Black grout will eventually become that color, so if you start with it, you're one step ahead. White is too dramatic and will show soil too quickly.

Good question! I've seen some bizzare grout turn up in some nice homes over the years. A lady once used a bright sky blue grout with royal blue tile... The grout was glowing!
With black granite & slate, grey will be a very good coordinates. You may find that a warm grey (a touch of tan) can add a warm touch to the overall look of the tile. Just beware that color grout may be tempting but it usually dominates the look of a room. And, I wonder why any one would want the cheapest part of the decor to be the most noticed.

I think beige is a poor choice. I hate when contractor do that, they should be thinking along the lines of how dirt will show and whats best for the customer and not their own taste. there is grout tint you may be able to paint it a dif coulour but its not too fun to use and its a tint so it may stain other things inc your tile if there are any chips in it from cutting. I would say remove the grout and start fresh. with white/gret tiles I could think a winter grey would look nice or even a artic ice. by choosing these tones they will blend into the tiles more. if you are looking for them to stand out like a checker board then go like dark grey or even black. but its very bold and if you might be selling in the future then it could be a turn off for some buyers. the artic ice and winter grey are both from a grout company called "Custom" sold at Home Depot and prob many other hardware stores. Personally i would call the contractor and ask to remove the grout and put in the one of YOUR choosing and not his. this is part of a satisfaction on the job completed.

I'd go with a steel grey to add to the modern look you are going for. Plus the grey will work well with metal (assuming you are going chrome). If you aren't you may want to consider a monotone look, black grout to allow the focus to be only on the granite.

I would go white
There are lots of products out these days to clean grout
I used one of those little magic squares from Mr.Clean
The white will really show u; the black granite
If you keep the bathroom vent open and not steam it up etc. you won't get mold on the grout
Good luck

They have a company called MAPEI. Lowe's sells their products. They have a large variety of colors: Pewter(which is really pretty), Silver, Charcoal, and Alabaster. Any of those would be pretty with your floors :)
