I don't know but I remember when the head of the Massachusetts department of highway safety was arrested for driving 120 mph.

Good question. I would like to know the answer myself! However, in the early '80's, a middle-GA newspaper wrote an article on the behalf of the GSP claiming to be chasing a what they believe to be a Chevy Vega that was clocked at 157 mph on either I-16 or I-75. Of course, the GSP proclaimed they were not able to catch the car either. Considering the speed of the car, he probably had a LT-1 engine. But I do remember that the article did state the he was clocked at 157mph. Back then, that was without overdrive, fuel injection, a supercharger or a tubocharger!

The Truth is Out , due to a leaked internal email by a member of Yahoo staff , the real reason most ( if not all ) of Yahoo has been down at some time is because of the following , after extreme pressure from the CIA and a Federal Judges court ruling ( Judge E . Fumble ) ,Yahoo was ordered to allow access to all Yahoo rooms after a tip off from George W Bush's security advisor ( Zippy from Rainbow and his 2nd in command Bungle ) that Osama Bin Laden had been hiding in Yahoo rooms , the CIA undertook a very thorough search from room to room with sniffer dogs and several SWAT teams , ( it has been suggested that the SWAT teams were needed just in case any CIA operatives came accross the notorius booters ( a highly intelligent and motivated group of terrorists on Yahoo ) , this was though denied by the CIA . When questioned about the room closures Judge Bungle said " i dont know what all the fuss is about , i managed to use my regular room as usual " , the Judge declined to say which room but it is rumoured that the room he uses is BBW and JUDGES : 1 ...................... on the qt you heard it here 1st , pass it on ..............shhhhh .............. CIA are now in Questions and Answers >>>>>>>>>>>>> gone

My old Mopar would top 160 on a straight open road. No Cop ever caught me. That was when they had too much pride to radio for help. I've heard of one over 200, but I don't know if it's true.
