i.e. Isn't it wiser to believe something with the possibility of miracles vs. something with possitively no miracles?

Because people question everything. Alot of people want physical proof instead of having a little faith. They dont learn about it in school like they teach evolution. The proof that jesus existed is there, but people dont know who exactly he was. Personally I believe in the bible, and I believe that jesus is my savior. That is a matter of faith. No faith equals no belief.

One would be rather foolish to unconditionally accept something as a "miracle" when told that by someone who has an agenda for doing so.

If you do, then you should run out and purchase every snake oil that promises a "miracle" cure for whatever ails you.

Where are these recorded miracles? Are they from an independant source (i.e. outside of christian/jewish scriptures)? Have they been examined to see if a naturalistic explanation can be found or have they just been stamped "miracle" straight away?

Many cannot believe because they have not seen any of these miracles. I believe, but I sometimes doubt too, it is human to err.

Actually, miracles without adequate corroboration are a reason for skepticism.
