Question for you......
How much of it have you read? Are you literate enough to understand it?
The Bible plainly says, "Even a fool can understand it".....
I guess you are the kind of person who requires partying, etc. Then you need to follow Satan, He provides all the inequity you desire...

as christians we all should read the Bible. I realize that parts of it are not particularly interesting, I actually just fell asleep last night reading Numbers, but I believe that every book is significant. If you're a new Christian or just don't have much experience with reading the Bible, maybe start somewhere like Psalms or any of teh Gospels; they're easier to understand and you don't get caught up in reading all the laws and boring stuff.

Actually, the Bible is quite interesting if you look at the right part. i used to think the Bible was boring too, but i finally just looked in the right place. You should try the story of David and Saul. I found it to be very exciting. Also, there is a story somewhere in the Good Book where a man speaks to a donkey. now, anyone would find that interesting!

Some of it's pretty cool.
Judges 4:21 But Jael, Heber's wife, picked up a tent peg and a hammer and went quietly to him while he lay fast asleep, exhausted. She drove the peg through his temple into the ground, and he died.
2 Kings 19:35
That night the angel of the LORD went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!
Matthew 2
16When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. 17Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18"A voice is heard in Ramah,
weeping and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children
and refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more."

Good question! Well the Torah,Barashith,Old Testament are all story copy from The Enuma Elish and the Gilgamesh Epic these ancient tablet has the flood story and it predates the Bible by thousands of years. Or the Gene-ology-of-Isis (Genesis). Don't believe me look it up! Read Chariot of the Gods or Zecharia Sitchin's books. The Bible boring because it so full of unresearched facts and is being pass off as truth! Religion is to enslave your mind and body! To give you false hopes!

You have to be kidding me. The Bible is one of the most exciting and informative books that there are. If you are looking for adventure, read Genesis, or Exodus, telling the true story of the begining of the world, all the way to when the Isslrealites went to the Promised Land. If you are looking for non- stop action, read Job. It talks about a man who has everything taken away from him, including his health.

maybe because you're going into it expecting it to be boring. also, i wouldn't start from the beginning and go through it like a normal book. it is made up of 66 books. i would start w/ the new testament. jesus' life is anything but boring. if you are into history and battles i would try giving the 1 or 2 Kings a try in the OT. or esther is a good one, it's short and has a good story to follow.
but, overall i would suggest to start in the gospels. probably the gospel of john. read about jesus' life, and don't have the presupposition that it is going to be boring.

You actually have to be led by God to read His word and get anything out of it. It is like coming to Christ. You cannot do it unless God draws you to do it. I suppose that sitting around passing a joint and laughing about absolutely nothing is much more interesting? Been there. Done that. Dead end. Christ is life. The Word of God is life. Idle words and deeds are death.

The Bible may seem boring to you at first because it takes the revelation of God to make it real to you. Continue to read and study and you will receive faith and through faith comes revelation and then it gets amazing. My advice is to continue to study and seek God in his word and prayer and in meditation until you begin to hear from God this is the beginning of a real relationship with him.
