...how do I cash in?

At this point, I do not have any income from all these users and I am thinking since the site is industry specific, I would just go to some major firms in the industry and look to see if they want to advertise.

The problem I have is that I do no know how to evaluate 10,000 active users. Would i sell this on a $$$/click type basis or just a straight advertising fee? How much would it typically be worth to reach 10,000 active users?

Any other ideas on how I can turn this site into income?

Unless you are a real pro, evaluating how much it's worth is about as good as guessing. Even for "pros" it can be elusive. Starting on a $/click is one way to figure out a base line and is pretty much risk and effortless.

I would start with something very basic, like Google's program:

It's hard to answer your question without more information. You say you have an industry specific list - that is "great."

You have a goldmine at your fingertips.

PM me with more details about your industry & we can find a way to target your database and do a JV with someone.

10,000 active users with a 1 to 3 % response rate would be approx 300 responses. Most leads are worth $1 to $5 depending on the market.

If you offered that list a product that sells for $40 and 300 responded that's $12000 in your pocket.

Like I said shoot me a PM.
