I will have received my teacher certification soon and was wondering if anyone knew of any programs in the Houston, Tx. area where I can get some more answers about working as an educator while doing mission work.
Thanks!

Your diocesan office will have information on mission work.

Here is some information from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Missions website: http://www.missionsla.org/missionhome/missionhome.html

With love in Christ.

Ask your local priest. He has a Catholic Directory of Religious Communities who work in the area. Or call your local diocesan office.

Contact your Diocesan office for Missions. Every Diocese has one!

God Bless!

Contact the Sisters of Charity and see if you can get involved with Mother Theresa's order. Your local Catholic Church should be able to help you even if they just give you the Diocese phone number to ask them

Try the Franciscans. They do missionary work for the poor and marginalised sectors of society.

Why don't you try asking your priest. I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.
