I am a listener first,I am a talker later. Therefore I am both. That makes me three kinds!

People have the ability to be talkers and listeners, it's the matter of time when you choose to be one or the other. When you communicate with someone, you would want to listen first then in response make any comments that would either continue or end the discussion. Just make sur the response is appropriate for the conversation held, that comes with being a good listener.

When I was younger, I was really a talker. Now I'm older, I started to get sick of it and just been a listener since then.

I am a talker. I think it is possible to be both. I try very hard to be a listener but I have a hard time concentrating. Maybe I'm ADHD?

I listen... then if its too quiet I talk. One thing is for sure.... People like a listener better than a talker. People like to hear themselves.... You rarely ever change anyone's mind about something, so let them talk.

I think I'm both. I feel its best to listen to see what the conservation is heading. Waiting to hear what they think or feel of the subject in question. Then stating what you feel or think. Its good to be open-minded and hear others and still stating yours. Means you have option's too they you can stand up for what you feel or think on a subject.

I am both, but when I get really nervous or excited I get all chatty. I listen to my friends when they have something to say or need advice. I do have ADHD and that doesn't help the situation a bit.

I don't talk much except around my very close friends. And I'm usually too busy day dreaming to be an attentive listener.
(But I do listen to my friends' problems)

So...none of the above?

You know what I hate about "The View"... it's a bunch of women talking over each other. If someone is talking, allow them to finish a sentence, no matter if it's a male or female. There are few things as irritating as someone stepping over your line before you are able to finish a thought. MS

I have found that you learn sooooooo much more by being a "Listener." Also, you have much less to regret by listening rather than talking. Think about it.
