liquids and aerosols such as your inhaler that are less than 3 ounces in size can be carried on with you. There is no need to have a doctor's note.

I don't see why that would be a problem traveling with your prescription inhaler. I would suggest that you make sure it is in the original packaging and still has your prescription on the package, with the name on the prescription matching the name on your ticket.
