what is your opinion on models being too skinny?

There killing themselves. It is not healthy to be too skinny or too fat. I would like to see a model that looks like an realistic person. Not a barbie doll.

The whole point of a model is to show off a designers clothing so that ultimately people will buy their line...
It seems very stupid to model your clothes on people who dont represent the majority of people who will buy their clothing.
Women are starting to think that being a model means you are pretty, and with that being skinny means being pretty.
Oddly most men, like women with curves, but the average women doesnt believe that because of skinny models, who are pushed as being "pretty".
If we want things to change, more men, need to be the ones to voice outloud that they love women with curves, and being skinny like a 13 year old boy is not sexy.
Women need to know, that skinny is not what most men want.
They want a women who looks like a woman, not a boy.

I don't think they are too skinny at all.
Women models were ALWAYS skinny. They were. Even in the 50's. But we have gotten taller as a people.
Most of those women are NATURALLY skinny,
and most of today's society simply EAT TOO MUCH and don't exercise enough off, EVERY DAY.
So if people say they are a 'bad role model' or not representing 'reality'.
Tough crap, they look good and that's the point! To sell!

i cannot stand the stick thin models. i do not think that they look good. i do not need to see your ribs through your back, or be able to see your kneecaps moving under your skin.

Those poor girls need to come over to my house where I will feed them some steak, potatoes, veggies dripping with butter, ice cream, and soda pop. Those poor girls need to eat! It's horrible how skinny they are. The Earth is round, so women should be too.

It would be good for young girls to see another image of beauty other than that. Might help all the anorexia.
