I have always had a hard time believing in a god. Mainly because of people claiming god is perfect. That causes way to many contradictions. I have, however, thought a similar thing to what you are thinking. If there is a god, maybe he isn't how people perceive him to be. Not completely different, maybe just not perfect. I read a very interesting theory before:
"Atoms, as we've all learned, are basically mini solar systems. If an electron were a sentient being, it might discover it to be part of an atom after some time. Later, it would discover other atoms. Maybe, if it were an especially smart electron, it would discover the cell it's part of, and it would worship the cell God, because cells are all-powerful in the mind of an electron. Now, the cell knows about the atoms it is made of, and it knows about the electron. Maybe, if the cell were smart, it would discover itself to be part of a human's organ. And it would worship the organ. And the organ would worship the body, and so on, getting infinitely larger. The universe is giant to us, but what it could be compared to an atom of an even greater force? "

The Bible is God’s Word. But some of the interpretations derived from it are not. There are many cults and Christian groups that use the Bible claiming their interpretations are correct. Too often, however, the interpretations not only differ dramatically but are clearly contradictory. This does not mean that the Bible is a confusing document. Rather, the problem lies in those who interpret and the methods they use.
Because we are sinners, we are incapable of interpreting God’s word perfectly all of the time. The body, mind, will, and emotions are affected by sin and make 100% interpretive accuracy impossible. This does not mean that accurate understanding of God’s Word is impossible. But it does mean that we need to approach His word with care, humility, and reason. Additionally, we need, as best as can be had, the guidance of the Holy Spirit in interpreting God’s Word. After all, the Bible is inspired by God and is addressed to His people. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand what God’s word means and how to apply it.

It is not the Bible that has changed, it is the way of reading the Scriptures the ones that has changed through years, it could´nt be possible to take the Bible literaly (giving more attention to the word itself that the spirit of the Law)
We can´t read the Scriptures the way they were read in the first century right?

Well, that couldnt be the case.. Since u believe that there is a God. Do you absolutely think that he would trap us in a world with no way OUT?? No escape at ALL? HELL naw!! .. Why would he do tht? There is an escape... you just have to find it.. And besides.... there were times on earth where people didnt have a way out.. And everyone that died went to hell.. But Jesus came down and re-arranged that problem. He also got the righteous people out of hell. SO U actually spoke of truth.. Just Past truth.. Kudos!! ur on ur way!!

have you ever considered FSM ok so i'm an atheist trust it or no longer yet i think like human beings shouldn't purely brush aside fsm. efficient, brush aside the gospel of FSM because for me it truly is in trouble-free words a reason for confusion. yet have any of you ever considered a potential more beneficial than your self. There are purely as many stuff proving some thing more beneficial than oneself than disproving (remmember human beings i'm speaking about FSM no longer the gospel). So for the 0.33 time i ask have you ever considered a potential more beneficial than your self? FSM loves you all

You mean in the Biblical God, but that he is hateful, not loving? Yes, and I believe that is the truth. There is actually tons of evidence in the Bible, especially the Old Testament, that paints him in this light, but people get too obsessed with Jesus and his assurances that "God loves you" to notice.

the bible hasn't changed drastically. We have the dead sea scrolls (100-200 b.c) to prove modern old testament accuracy, we also have over 20,000 ancient greek, latin new testament copies (some as old as 120 a.d.) which validate modern new testaments.

...OK, I want a relationship with God, I want his input on my life, I want to know more of his personality beyond what's in the Bible...
...all of those things come to me by talking to him or praying to him and hearing him speak and seeing the blessings he gives me and just watching him work in my life which will show me his actions while the bible may just tell of them or give stories, I will know for a fact because of all the things listed above...
...they will be a testament to me that shows me he is what he says. he is in his word...
...you get what I mean?...
...you don't just read the Bible your whole life you have to take actions too, that means OPEN YOUR MOUTH, talk to God, OPEN YOUR EARS, listen to God, actually interact with him like you would any other person...he's waiting for you to do these things...
