He has been to the vet and uses antibotics and for skin infection (ivomec), but nothing seems to work.

He has a very foul odor to him...you can smell him from like 10 feet away.

BTW, he's an indoor dog.

Your dog may have some sort of fungal infection or a type of yeast infection. You need to get rid of the infection through anibiotics or topical creams and sprays may help that a vet should be able to provide you with to help. I dont know what kind of shampoo you are using but you may want to try "Tropiclean" "OXY med shampoo and treatment. If used properly, will reduce scaling buildup and rid the dog of excessive dry skin and hydrate the skin to help make it healty. Put the dog on a high quality food such as Natural Balance. Dont change everything at once though because you want to keep track of what is working. Good luck.

This sounds to me like an allergy of some kind, irritated skin for sure...........maybe to lawn fertilizer, shampoo, food, anything......... take puppy to the vet to figure out what the issue is and then treat it from there.
Have you changed anything in the dog's routine lately? New food, new treats, new shampoo, anything you can think of that dog may be allergic to? New pest control company? New gardener, new food?
Daily bathing is NOT a good idea for doggie skin...........this will dry it out and cause it to become more irritated than it already is. Just take doggy to the vet........... and if you can't afford that then turn him/her in to a shelter, because you shouldn't have a pet if you can't afford to give it proper medical attention when needed.

needs a vet too urgently.
Have you tried frontline? I bet he has a flea skin allergy. after his bath (and you really ought to bath him once a week at the most, not every day) put the frontline drops on his neck and keep him dry for 3 days.

Ask the vet to check your dogs glands, sometimes that can be the probem and once simply cleaned, the smell goes away.

take it to the vet. maybe you are bathing it too much, and it's developed a rash. or a skin allergy. the vet will know.
