the word "truth." Which is the truth? Catholicism, Protestant, Taoism, Satanism, christian, Methodist, or Episcopalian? Specifically, the only proof of truth is found in the bible, and people use the bible to prove the bible.
Science, however, uses stem cell research, carbon dating, DNA, the molecules, atoms, quarks and strings that are the very stuff of the universe to explain the beginning of the universe, how a brain ticks, and the origins of pretty much everything.
Genesis only says "in the beginning..." and the bible says miracles happened.... and that's it.
Which is true, which is delusion, and which should be followed by the high-number masses?

As far the truth of the Bible goes i think that people perceive their own truths from the bible, it has gaps and vague wording all Through it. As far as science is concerned everything is fact, exact, and for the most part easy to understand. So I think that the truths of religion and the truths of science are two entirely different interpretations of one word. One is fact and one is faith. Which ever one you feel is your kind of truth is the truth you should choose.

1. I love how you capitalized all those religions but left Christian in lower case.....can we say judgemental and racist?
2. If you were a real atheist, you would not be here in the first place as you would not care about God nor what anyone says about God. But here you are, asking a long question. Glad to see Jesus working on you even though you deny it.
3. You are ignorant. The Bible has been the Bible for thousands of years...no change, and BILLIONS of men have followed it. BILLIONS have also tried to debunk it over all the years and centuries. Do you actually believe that you are that much more wiser than all those billions prior to you, that you alone, know the key and wisdom that they all missed?
4. You follow "science" but science changes yearly....just look at the text books.....they have to update them yearly due to the fact science changes every year. You sure don't see the Bible being rewritten every year to make things "fit".
Think about it.....you follow a book, a book written by man, a book that is altered, changed and reworded EVERY YEAR and its all based on a mans thinking named Darwin from the 1870's. But guess what.....there is a small tid bit of info your so called teachers care for you not to know. And its in black and white from the very "bible" you all follow.
Go pick up a copy of Darwins book, "evolution and the races", flip through it and read it. Then sit down and wait for the shock when you read Darwins own writing when he says....."evolution is nothing more than a fable, an in no way can ever exist".
its there in plain black and white if you are to see it....but I am sure you will be like you always have been.....just a follower and never a leader.

Jesus put it simply: "I am the truth"
Think about it - what kind of answer do you want? If I said "Catholicism is the truth" what would that mean to you? Would you go and research Catholicism, fumble around, ask a priest, guess, wonder, hope? If I said "Science is truth" what would that mean to you? That if you needed an answer about why you were here you would pick up a test tube and start experimenting?
Jesus simply says "I am the truth" - that means when you come to him, he will lead you, he will teach you and guide you and show you what truth is. He will do it personally in a way that you can really understand and all you need to do is trust him and follow him.
You see you can't say that science is truth... science is a process of discovering facts about the universe. Science as a process uncovers new facts and debunks old theories of yesterday. Last year's scientific "truth" is tomorrow's error. You only need to look at the history of science to see some examples of science that wasn't quite true: spontaneous generation, eugenics, etc.
I'm not saying science is a delusion, just that it doesn't offer permanent truth relevant to our lives the way the creator of the universe (Jesus) does.

Nothing has the absolute truth. Religion uses outdated text and more and more wild claims to try and prove itself true. Science can't acknowledge that is is 100% definitely true, because there may be one as yet unknown situation in which a particular currently accepted theory is not valid.

Absolute truth is not discovered in a book or anywhere in the outside world. Absolute truth lies within. The kingdom of God lies within. This is what was meant in the bible when referring to the body as the temple. Through meditation and contemplation, truth can be found.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes unto the father but by Him.
Science is limited to knowledge available at a particular junction in history. It changes due to prevailing thought on any given day.
Truth doesn't change. It is absolute.
Because it is absolute, we cannot know it becaue we exist in time and space. Time and space limit our knowledge to the here and now.
Do other dimensions exist? Your science says they do.
Can we know their properties and characteristics? Heck, we can't figure out for certain the properties and characteristics of THIS dimension!
If other dimensions exist and we cannot know fully about them, that which is absolute truth is absolute regardless of dimensional characteristics and properties.
Since we are limited in our knowledge, we cannot put ALL the facts together to arrive at a conclusion of absolute truth. All we can do is logically deduce fact from controlled experimentation.
Jesus said that He is the way the truth and the life and that no man comes to the father but by Him. He is the Son of God. He rose from the dead. He fulfilled prophecy. I'd say that's a pretty impressive resume.
I think I'll do what God says.

Science invariably proves the insight of God.
Even light itself is now being hailed as health beneficial.
Only when we give due credit to one, and ignore the founding beliefs of the other do we do a disservice to both.
I believe that both science, and God can exist together, and without one, the other would remain a mystery.

I agree.
But the Truth is found only within yourself - not in any kind of religion ( includes science - even they are getting close to the truth - nowadays)

Something is only true to the one who believes it. When it comes to their beliefs, I mean. If someone thinks what they believe is true, then its is the truth to them. It may not necessarily be the truth to someone else, and is wrong to claim somone else's truth is wrong, because who are we to say what is true? Because something is written down doesn't necessarily make it true.

Jesus is the Truth. If you want the truth, stick to the religion that Jesus himself started and don't listen to all the other people. The Catholic Church is his Bride.
