and Midwives DO deliver in hospitals. I had a midwifre deliver my baby. she worked at the OB/GYN office I went to. My doc was out on an emergency so she came in. I was nervous since she was not a "real doctor"...........but guess what. she did so well I will request her next time!

midwife or obgyn the doctor never makes it though so i would say the midwife delivers the baby however the obgyn is the one you will more then likly see through out your pregnancy for pre natel care some do see a midwife though hope this helped goodluck

Obstetricians, but mostly all Gynocologists are Obstetricians these days, so it is safe to say that Gynocologists deliver babies.
