I want to get kind of a humorous tattoo to remind myself not to be so serious, and I was thinking of getting a dog chasing his tail. Although, I'm not really sure where it would go, dont really want him on my arm or anywhere too noticable, but still where I can see it.

I like the idea of having it wrap around one of my legs; I have hairy legs though, I dont know if that would make it more realistic (lol, like dog fur), or just make it harder to see.

KELJO - I cant see your logic. We are born with things we are supposed to have?

I think its a great idea, as long as you think you'll still like it in 10 years, and as long as you have a good artist doing the work. You don't want it to end up looking like the Tazmanian Devil... I know you said you don't want to get it on your arm, but it would be cool if the dog was chasing its tail around your arm or leg...

The absolute pleasant approach to flip him on is to shock him. Make the transfer on him in an distinguished position or surroundings. Break any scheduling behavior you will have additionally. The extra you speak approximately it, he'll on the whole develop uncomfortable. If you play the feminist factor of view...He isn't going to head for it.

Get a deflated blow-up doll on your inner thigh facing you. That'd be funnier.
Haha, kidding.
I'd get it maybe on your lower shin?

--I'm assuming you're a guy, so there's really not a lot of places you can just place one small thing without it looking feminine. Like, you could put it on your hip, but that's a girl thing. Or on your lower back, once again, on its own is kind of feminine.

Thats funny. I think the hip should be good. Then it is pretty much covered by the waist of your pants. and if you want to show it to your self or your freinds for fun, you could just kinda pull it down. I hope it turns out as cool as you imagine it in your mind.

that is so funny!!! you should definitely go to a custom tattoo artist to make that happen!!! i wouldn't worry about having hairy legs. just shave your dog and it'll look fine.

I got my tat on the side of my calf, I can see it anytime I want & anything capri length covers it up so it is not visible unless I wear shorts.
As far as your idea, ask yourself if that is a tattoo you will want in 20 years...

Good luck & enjoy your tat if you get it. =)

I think that is a great idea. I laughed just reading about it and thought it was good. I have tat's on my upper back and shoulder. all my shirts cover them but when I take it off I see them. Try that. Great thought!

I love the idea, but it's tricky to find the right place to put it...
I can't even suggest somewhere hey. *shrug*
If it were mine, I'd probably go for the lower back or a shoulder blade.

Well I am anti tattoo. My opinion is that if your were supposed to have a tattoo then you would have been born with one and if you are a serious type of a person there is nothing wrong with that, but I would seriously find something else to loosen myself up besides a tattoo. Ask if you can watch someone get one sometime before you do it. My husband has one. He got it when he was in the Army and now he hates it and wishes he didn't have it.
