Windows are made to look outside. Your neighbors shouldn't be looking in without your permission. I suggest you get curtains so the neighbor won't look in.

Your neighbor is absolutely right. You have no right looking out your windows in your house and I am sure you consulted your neighbor on where to put the windows to make sure they can get a good view of what you were doing. Sounds like your neighbor has issues. Is his name peeking tom? Windows are for letting natural light and warmth in your house and for your view. It is nobody's business what is in your house and I would be totally insulted.

3M has a great product. It's a little pricey, but it will protect your furniture, drapes, carpet, and sanity. I would go with the one that PREVENTS people from looking in. Windows were created to bring light into the room and for you to see outside. They were actually a defensive element - so you could see intruders before they get to you. Windows are not for your neighbors, they are for you.

It's called being a peeping tom if you are looking into someones windows. Next time they do, call the police! Windows are to look out of, not to peep on someone inside!
