i was having the same problem with my 1 year old... i would hold him down... and he would gag himself till the threw up... so i would act like i was going to take it... that didnt help... i would act like i was giving his favorite bear some... and then he would take it... well that eventually got old and he didnt want to do it like that anymore... so i talked to his doctor... and she told me to squirt it into his cheeks... still didnt work... so she told me that i could put it in his milk or whatever he was drinking.. i just didnt let him see me doing it... and i was using amoxicillin as well... you can put it in there.... but dont feel his cup up if you dont think that he is going to drink it all... because ever how much he drinks is how much of the meds hes getting.... he was also on another medicine... i put them both in there... its not going to hurt... just dont let him see it... and dont fill it full when you put his medicine in his cup

don't put it in his cup, then you are not sure if he got it all and at what rate, put in a med spoon or syringe place in back right and squeeze they have no choice but to swallow, i learned this from a pediatrician, and many peds nurses do it this way, remember you are doing this so your child can be well, it is quick after two times they are used to it, i am a mom to five, this was a lifesaving technique because my 15 year old has had severe asthma since he was 1 and the meds are very very important, and to make sure they get all of it at the right time

Simple. You don't ask. You are the parent, dont' take no for an answer, be stern, if you do it a few times, then he will come to understand he has no choice. My daughter used to fight like crazy until someone told me that bit of advice. I tried it about 4 times, and after that she never fought me again. She is six now, and complains, but takes the medicine without a fight! In fact, both my girls do.

At the drugstore, you can buy a fat syringe (without needle of course) made for measuring medicine. You fill it to the proper measure and put it in the side of his mouth (so it doesn't matter if he bites) and dispense! Also, ask the pharmacist if he can change the flavour of the medicine for you (they can do that now)

Try putting it in something thick like pudding or applesauce. Make sure you use a small amount of the disguise. If he doesn't finish it he won't get the full dose of medicine.

i'd seem on the PERCRIPTION AN SEE THE EXPERATION DATE. THEN i'd DISCARD on the DATE via fact ITS greater efficient TO BE risk-free THAN SORRY, it might desire to no longer BE ANY solid. YOU DO comprehend there is no risk-free soreness drugs,SO, i'd FLUSH DOWN TOLIET and then NOONE OR infant arise with something THAT replace into risky. you would be able to CAN ASK YOUR PHARMACY additionally.HOW long are you able to maintain IT AFTER THE EXPERATION yet incredibly they do no longer circulate OVER THE DATE.

Have you tried putting it in a syringe? My pharmacist gives me syringe's without the needles on them. I just stick it in his mouth towards the cheek and squirt a little bit at a time.
