So my best guy friend likes about 50 miles from my apartment in CA, and so though we see each other about 3 times a month we talk online. We talk about relationships, work etc. at one time -
i talked to him for 3 hours. Becuase of the distance this is mainly what is keeping us good friends, being connected.
Ok, but here's the thing. Lately, our conversations have been awkward..like large lapses and nothing to talk about. Am i reading to much into this? We don't chat about the "deep" things that we used too... Just like, hey how was your day etc. i miss him..

2) Man I can't talk for 3 hours straight on a phone with a girl. More like 2 hours. I wonder why, you run out of stuff to talk about if you talk for 3 hours a day.

Well unless you've run out of things to talk about, which can happpen, but I doubt it. Can't you just search for topics to talk about? Sometimes it might take some searching until you hit on something the person is interested in and has a lot to say about. Just keep up on the news and current events and stuff like that, or interesting stories about what is happening at work and school, and start talking about those and see what happens. Sometimes when you talk to a person a lot you, you do start to run out of stuff to talk about, so you have to search a little. At this that is what happened to my ex-bf of 4 years (which is not necessarily why he became my ex). But anyways, try that. If it doesn't work, maybe he is resisting talking to you for some reason?

sounds like the fizz dwindles ya said all ya can perhaps.. and it isnt the same as beign there in person.. it happens .. its sad.. 50 miles is what an hr or so away.. perhaps they got other freinds keeping them chatting.. if he is your best guy freind tell him hey i consider u my best guy freind lets hook up soon adn have fun soon as i feel chats on line are boring ya ok>?
