brother in law and his friend waited until husband and i went to bed then went outside in the back of the land and made meth. brother in law stated this sentence to me so am i responsible

You must be one hell of a sound sleeper. Making meth is a pretty stinking operation.
However, you might be able to wiggle out from under criminal charges. That is only the beginning of your problems. As the home owner, innocent or not, it is your responsibility to decontaminate the home. Professional hazmat teams do this. It is very expensive, and you get to pay for it all. In some serious meth contamination cases, the entire home had to be razed. Again, at the owner's expense.

If you could show that you truly had no knowledge of it, and you weren't the offender's parent, then you'd probably be in the clear.
I have to agree with the other poster, though. As I understand it, making meth is an involved, tricky, messy proposition. You'd have to be deliberately turning a blind eye to not know about it.

If you know someone that is making meth you really should do the community a favor and call the police.

Considering how involved meth production is, you would have to have many acres not visible or in use to not know it... and be able to convince the authorities you had no knowledge. Not gonna happen.

If you truly did not know about it you have no worry. Call the police. However, since you posted this you must know of the incident. If you do not call and allow it to continue, you will be very responsible.

you're renting a house? then you quite are responsible. The ants were poor this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days! imagine that is the elements... to boot to spraying, you possibly want ant traps. call the pest administration service, get it done, then placed out ant traps.
