Im making a banana pudding that calls for eagles can milk but I forgot to buy it when I was at the store. I dont feel like going back to the store so I need to know if there is a difference.

Yes, there's a difference. Eagle Brand is a sweetened condensed milk. It is thick and very rich.

Please disregard the other person. They are completely different. Carnation milk is evaporated milk - perhaps some water removed with a milk consistency. It can be whipped. We used to dilute it and give to baby as formula. Eagle brand is sweetened condensed milk almost like thin toffee and sweet. You use them totally differently in recipes. OMG another one - what is the matter with these people it is as different as sweetened whipped cream and 2 % milk. Banging head on counter - the difference is not colour - it is sugar and consistency and how you use it. That 7 Layer bar does not work with carnation milk you need eagle brand which is almost syrup.

Eagles brand is generally condensed milk. It is thick because 3/4 of the water has been evaporated from it. You could substitute evaporated milk, that is like condensed but does not have sugar added. You can try applesauce. You need a thick liquid.

there is a diference because homoginized milk seems to be more thiker then eagles brand milk
