Jehovah's Witnesses are certain evangelizers, although they do not refer to themselves as "Evangelical Christians" because the term is redundant (all Christians must preach).
Jehovah's Witnesses note that the bible much more consistently condemns the "PRACTICE of sin" rather condemning or comparing isolated sinful acts. The PRACTICE of sin is a pattern that demonstrates over multiple incidents, perhaps over weeks, months, years, or decades of one's life. A Christian's love for God and Christ moves him to practice godliness (rather than practicing sin) during the days of his life.
(1 John 3:4,6) Everyone who practices sin is also practicing lawlessness, and so sin is lawlessness. ...Everyone remaining in union with [Jesus] does not practice sin
(1 John 5:18) We know that every [person] that has been born from God does not practice sin
Since there are no degrees of salvation (one is either saved or not), individual Christians must work to limit the frequency and severity of their sins. When they do sin, they demonstrate repentance.
(Hebrews 10:26) For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left
(2 Corinthians 12:21) I might mourn over many of those who formerly sinned but have not repented over their uncleanness and fornication and loose conduct that they have practiced.

Everyone sins including Christians! When one accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, they receive the Holy Spirit for guidance and help, however the sinful flesh is still within them. Christians stumble many times(I know I do!) but when they do they must repent of there sins immediately and continue in their walk with God. God is merciful and loving, if you are sincere and want to turn away from the sin, then He will be faithful and just to forgive you of any sin that you have committed. However the amazing thing for Christians is that they have Jesus Christ and they have power over sin if they only follow and trust Him!

Although you often hear people saying that all sins are the same, that is NOT the case.
The bible states very clearly that some sins cannot be forgiven.
This means that there are magnitudes to sin. A greater sin and a minor sin is still sin. Both leads to hell. But the punishments could differ quite differently. Hell, is only the place for certainty of punishment, what exactly is the punishment...well it depends.

There are differences in types of sin and consequences vary with the depth of particular sin. There is no denying that a murderer's consequences are more severe than a liar's. However, to sin against God, no matter what variety of sin you choose, is an offense to God. One sin is not less than another. How can you say that one sin is less offensive to God than another? Judgmental and possibly man's way of trying to justify his actions. The ten commandments are a list of things given to us to prove that it is only by grace that we are saved not by works. After Jesus we now operate under the new law which encompasses all the commandments...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.

Evangelicals like to use the old testament for a lot of their preaching, and in the old testament, if your broke one law, you broke all of them, so all sins did have pretty much the same effect ... condemnation.
That's no longer the case in this age of grace, but a lot of evangelical people never made the logical jump from old to new, or from law to grace.
But hey ... if you believe in "once saved, always saved" what's the real dif?

The Bible says that the 10 commandments were given to us for our own benefit. NOT so that we go to hell if we break them.
This is a totally misunderstood section of the Bible.

Believe it or not they do|
Obviously killing 50 people is a lot worse than stealing 50 dollars|
If they think that God can't tell the difference between the two, what kind of God do they believe in?

They claim they do, but it seems to me they batch what they want. Like the preacher in CO spoke against gay marriage and it turned out he was having an affair with a male escort. The blind can't lead the blind.

Could I just quote Jesus:
"There is no sin.
It is you who makes sin exist."
