I am from lebanon, and have lived in the U.S. with my alien registration card form I-551 (permanent residency) for 32 years, with just the alien card, can i travel from U.S. to mexico and back safely? i know i can if i just have my alien card, but im wondering if i can if i am from lebanon but live in us....please answer asap!

Yes, you will have to bring your alien card and Lebanese passport with you for entry back to the U.S.

us Mexico you need a passport now. and yes you can travel with your permanent resident card

I wouldn't do it, without authorized legal immigration agent. Plus I would apply for residency or even citizenship too.

As a US citizen, you must have a Visa to enter Mexico, go to your Mexican consulate. Don't ask here by all means.
