ok im in 8th grade so this isnt a huge deal but i would appreciate some advice.
one of my best friend broke u with a girl that ive always been good friends w/ 2 weeks ago and recently weve been talking a lot and ive really started to like her. i think she likes me also because of some things shes said. i really want to "ask her out" but i dont want it to be awkward and ruin our really close friendship. i also dont want to make my friend who just broke up w/ her mad.
what should i do. ill appreciate all advice.

Tell your friend first that you haven't been able to help becoming interested in the girl. Since he broke up with her (rather than the other way around), you should be able to tell him about it. Make sure to let him know that you wanted to go to him first about this and that you were kinda worried about it. Assuming your friend is a decent guy, I'd hope he was open to hearing what you want to tell him about this...
Make things cool with him, then go for her.

You really need to talk with your friend. You are right when you say relationships (romantic ones, anyway) in the 8th grade aren't a big deal. In the long run, you will be glad you kept your friend and you never know, he may not really mind if you do ask her out.

Well, first you should talk to your friend an see how he feels. If he wants you to wait, you should think about what you want more...a girl or your best friend.
In my experience, when you are good friends with someone, it tends to be less awkward when you breakup because you have stuff in common and you can talk.

well if your friend is on bad terms with her than yea you probably shouldnt ask her out, dont worry, though you'll get over her
otherwise you should probably ask him what he thinks about you and her going out
but if i was in this situation i would pick my friend over the person i like, cuz best friends last way longer than boyfriends/girlfriends

you should filrt with her
maybe even say
your cute or your sexy
compliment her
let her know that
you like her
with out saying you do.
call her.
say hi to her when ever you see her
hug her too.
maybe a 3days or a week later
ask her out
but dont let her wait for you
tooo much
girls dont like waiting.

tal to your friend it may not bug him and for your girl friend(not literally)take a risk that is how you get the best things in life by taking risks

dude ask her to the movies this is fun and it tells you the truth about her and it will get her mind off him it will work
