They do, many have small herniation at the umbilical site, some are repaired. If you can't find it that is actually a good thing, but if you look hard enough you probably will.
BTW I once thought human navels were either inny or outy because of the way they were tied as infants, that is not true it is an inherited trait and human infants umbilical cords are just clamped and they fall off when they dry out.

I can see the belly button on my pit bulls belly. He has little hair there, and it is very white, so the belly button can be seen when you look for it.

Who says they don't? Dogs are born with umbilical cords attached, like nearly all mammals. When they are whelped it breaks off of the mother just as in humans. Therefore dogs do have bellybuttons, it's just on a part of the dog that is not easily seen, on their stomach near their back legs.

um actually they do have belly buttons if you look it looks like a nipple small and round

The only difference is the way the cord is taken care of on a human.

my dog does. it's very faint, but it's there. their bellys are hairy, so it covers it.
