Global warming is at the fore front because politicians found how to use a new platform to get re-elected. The world leadersuse it because they found ways to make money at it. This is a made up problem just like Global Cooling in the 1970's. Wake up people. I agree we need to be more efficient with our resources, and we should fine and jail companies who are dumping into our rivers maliciously. I want to stop the raiforest destruction, but to say that global warming is a serious man made issue and we need to destroy the American economy and bow down to the rest of the world certainly does not float my boat. Follow the money on this one and you will see that it is all for political gain and grant money for those scientists who profit off of the government if global warming stays at the front of the issues. Look deep into the Keoto (sp?) Treaty, first of all they took jets to a non-central resort location. Not very environmentally concious. THen in the parameters of the treaty they have a clause that makes it so you can buy or sell polution credits. This is all about shifting wealth and breaking down the United States. This is painfully obvious, just look at peoples agenda. The earth's mean temperature has risen .6 degrees C in the past 125 years. Greenland's icecaps have gotten colder in the past 10 years. The Scientists who do not gain anything on their posisition will tell you that the earth has a natural progression and this is what we are seeing. The UN report is made up of POLITICIANS not a good spread of scientists. THere are as many or more scientists who believe that man in NOT the reason and it is over hyped, but their voice is not heard in the LIberal Mainstream Media. WAKE UP AMERICA, IT IS TIME TO BE AMERICANS. FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE. STOP THE LIES

I don't think I could use the word awesome for al gore.

However, I do think that he is a lot like Superman.

He flys all over the world trying to save us

He jumps to conclusions in a single bound

His greatest super power is standing perfectly still and disguising himself as a tree.

and finally, just like Superman does with kryptonite, if you placed some dry ice in water and let al gore see the CO2 boiling out, he would get all light-headed and faint like a girly-man.

Still haven't seen him in any celebrity fighting challenge fights. So,Im still skeptical.
But,that's not all. He also wrote a book. That book was made from a tree. The money he got is in the form of paper money in the bank. He flys around the world in an airplane that releases hundreds of tons of global warming gas and heat so as to spread his message of conservation and anti-global warming advice.
He's not as enviornmentally friendly as he advertises himself to be. Couldn't he just have been content with the DVD release of his documentary ? Why doesn't he just stay in America and stop flying around in massive airplanes that cause so much polution and global warming.
Also, Im sure he buys more than he needs and consumes too much just like all Americans and he never pointed out how busing kids to schools also contributes a lot to Global warming. Buses are big vehicles that contribute way to much to mega ton CO2 release into our atmosphere. CO2 is a globalwarming gas.
Over the decades in all of America, millions of kids being bused to schools that don't inform them of the dangers of their bus ride to and from school to the planet they live on.

His arguments are about one sided as Michael Moore. You can push any side of an argument as long as you have popularity and money
