Do you personally think it is your job to talk to others about Christ and true christian living? Is it better to just be an example of purity (through grace of course) or actually talk it over with others? I see so many Christian bands going mainstream but seem to not outright evangelize but just try to live the example ie Switchfoot, Relient K etc.

Yes I know I am a sinner who is saved by grace so I do take the time to witness because this is a commandment by God, and we are rewarded for this as well, I am bubbling with the joy of the lord and would like others to experience it as well and give others an oppurtunaty to experience the abudent life and a restored relationship with God. Oh yea and let God give them eternal life if they choose to believe in Jesus Christ!

Yes I would openly confess that Jesus is my Savior and my Lord, and I do. I try to live a Christian example as best as I can. And yes, I do try to talk it over with others. That's why I'm in this section, and that's why I blog about my Christianity.

Yes, but that doesn't mean I would want to be in a christian band... there is a huge difference between living a christian example, and ruining your band's integrity by trying to abuse it as an evangalistic adventure rather then as simply the artform it is...

we are to do both. we don't HAVE to bring it up with everyone, we would just look like fanatics. what's important is that people can see God in you, not you talking about him all the time... talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words, get it? you obviously can talk about it, but your lifestyle is a more important example.
