What are those breathalyzers called that you put in your car ...and the car won't start unless you're okay to drive? I need the REAL name for it though so my friend can get one. The judge ordered him to! ... any way... pleeeease help me!

Its called an ignition interlock switch and if your friend has been ordered to get one it should be on their paperwork from the court. THe courts here even tell you who to go to to get it installed.

tell your friend to save the 800 bucks and not get one because the judge orders these but has no one to carry out that he does get one. So nothing is going to happen to him if he dosent get one. This is in Wisconsin check out people in your state dude .

Your best bet would be for your friend to cal the courts and ask what the proper name is for the item then you will be able to get the right thing.
