it seems that she likes you a only a buddy, i'm so sorry. If it helps, you sounds totally hot and i would date you.

Asking her to the dance is fine. Do that first.

If she's not into you, there's no way to just plain admit that you like her OR even to drop a hint that you like her without running the serious risk of interrupting the dynamic of your friendship.

However, I can name at least 2 girls to whom I have come right out and said "I really like you a lot" and our friendship continued. In one case, the girl had started dating someone else of which I had not been aware... in another we just took a little bit of time and distance and came back together as close friends.

Take the risk and tell her how you feel. If you have a strong enough friendship, it'll endure the potential short period of discomfort from confessing your true feelings.

Ask her to the dance as a friend. Just keep it casual if you're afraid of driving her off, like, "Hey, there's a dance coming up, you wanna go with me?" And don't make her think you're asking her as a last resort, that's one of the best ways to offend a girl.

dont come out and just tell her cause you cherish you guys relationship. well, just throw her some hints obvious but not too obvious(because the dance is coming up soon.right?) so if you notice that she gets your hints see how she takes to them and make your conclusion from there.

1) if she starts to flirt back and blush every time she sees you well you know what to do
2) if she starts to distance herself that just means that she doesn't feel the same way about you and that you shouldn't make any more moves on her

Ask her to the dance and instead of treating her like a friend treat her like your girlfriend. Don't over analyze. She will probably be really happy to find out you like her for more than a friend.

the hard part is do you want her in your life period? it appears from what ur saying that if ya cant be more than friends than ya dont want her.. so.. um.. if u Really like her then you will take her as a friend no matter what.. so this tells me u dont really like her all that so much as u dont even want to be casual freinds if not more.. so then hearing all this.. i would say then if ur notgonna be her friend if ya dotn want her as any type of freind go ahead and ask her out and tell her ya really "want" to be with her but on valentines day i would um.. send her a secret admirer card explaining you like her always have and hope she will be urs from secret admirer...if she mention the card to ya then she knows if not then she is really clueless then ya can ask her out/.

Invite her, and then treat her like a princess. And relax and hae fun. . She'll figure it out. If she wants to be more than friends she'll give you a sign (just keep your eyes open for it). good luck

go ask her and see how it goes. She'll be pretty dumb if she can't figure out that you want to be more than friends.
