I had like slpit ends and breakage on my hair but it couldn't be seen becasue I could cover it up with my other hair. I finally cut it off (which they wanted to do). But now there is a huge bald spot now!!! I have been crying a lot over it, because now I think it looks so much worst. But it was either cut that spot or shave my head! Now I have no idea hot to get it to grow back. It is so ugly and making me so upset. I live in Atlanta does anyone know a good dermatologist or any mediine or peels. Is there anyone out there that can help me!! I think the roots are healthier now.

I'd just give it some time. It'll grow back and if it comes back with split ends get a really good conditioner or hair repair. That would help. Maybe to cover it up (if you have long hair) get your hair layered in short layers to help cover that spot. But no worries, I'm sure your beautiful no matter how your hair looks. :)

well, you should be using a better shampoo to begin with. you should try anti-snap by redken, which is for preventing the split ends. you should also get a regular trim, like every 6-8 weeks.

another great shampoo and conditioner is sexy hair concepts soy, chocolate, and pumpkin. all 3 are soy based, which does wonders for your hair.

remember that salon products are 100% guaranteed only when sold by a professional - not target, walgreens, or meijers! so make sure you get your stuff from a reputable salon.

you could try extensions - that's what i'm using to grow out my hair. average ones cost $20-30 and they're totally easy to put in.

you can get great ones from sally beauty supply that just clip right in.

or you could try bonding, which involves gluing and lasts around 1-1.5 weeks.

hope this helps. it'll grow out soon enough. keep in mind that if they didn't cut out the split ends, your hair would have split up the the root
