no no no no no!

gross.

it's a common misconception that the protein found in eggs can be added to the lost protein in your hair. eating eggs is good, but putting them on your hair? a stinky mess.

food was not meant to be put on your body.

instead, i would recommend going to your local salon and asking for a protein enriched shampoo and conditioner. one to try - redken anti-snap. it's going to cost you maybe $15.

another option is sexy hair concepts soy, chocolate, or pumpkin shampoos and conditioners. they're 100% sulfate free, and soy is great for your hair! these will cost you around $30, but you'll loooove the end result.

remember, salon products are 100% guaranteed only when sold by a professional - not meijers, target, or walgreens! only buy your products from a reputable salon!

hope this helps.

I don't know about washing with it but boiling eggs a giving them to a dog shell and all about once a week (1 egg) seems to make its coat look healthier. Might work on people but I never tried it.

Since hair is dead cells, nothing you use will make it "healthier." However your hair might pick up some of the fat in eggs and act like a hair conditioner. However, there are less gross ways to condition your hair than using eggs.

I have never heard of washing your hair with eggs. However, you can take egg whites and beat them till they are frothy and put it in your hair for like 15 min. and wash your hair like normal. I have long black hair and almost everyone I meet compliments on how pretty my hair is..... BTW, Im using my husbands log in, so Im not a man lol.

You should use the whole egg because it has more protein. Also, when you rinse the eggs out, don't use hot water or they will scramble.

Hahah, that would suck so bad, scrambled eggs in your hair!
