A friend of mine won a $1000 gift card for goshopping.com and I want to know is it safe to put your credit card number in there and do you really get what you buy there. It looks to be so new I can't find any information on it. Please any help would be great.

People I am not stupid!!!

Everything is new at some point in time and the place where you add your information does show a pad lock thing, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is safe. I need a real answer from someone who know this site. Either been hurt by it or has actually bought something on it. I enter sweepstakes all the time and win things and not everything that sounds to good to be true isn't true. I can't find one bad note on this site searching the web but no one saying hey this is great either. Real answers please!!!

And the need for the credit card is you do have to pay the shipping fees and that is usual when you use an online gift card.

I wouold recomend you DO NOT put in any credit card info or personal info. Esspecially if you can't find any info on the site and it's not secured. You put any info in and your subject to credit card fraud and identity theft. DO NOT give any info. If you have a gift card to use, they don't need your other info, like credit cards from you. Be carefull.
