When I was recovering from surgery in the hospital my sister got me some magazines. They were good becuase I didn't have the stamina to read a book. She got me like Maxim, National Geographic, Discover, Skeptical Inquirer, things like that becuase I really like science. Anyway, magazines aren't too expensive and could help him pass the time.
