my hair is thinish and fairly easy to straighten so the high heat level of CHI is not needed and may fry my hair

Use an ionic flat iron. It will not curl back easly.
Solia makes a Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron.
According to the Solia flat iron website, "tourmaline,
a precious stone, is used to generate up to 6 times more
negative ions than traditional ceramic irons".

i have this iron and it's the best investment i've made so far in my career. i love it. i rate it a 10.

that guy talking about chi, yeah, that's a great iron too, but much more expensive - you don't need to spend another $100 to get that one.

my PM flat iron works amazing on all hair types, as it heats up to as much as 400 degrees!

for my hair, i can set it at a lower setting and it works just as well.

i definately recommend this iron to all of my clients, and i definately recommend you investing in it. it'll save time, and it'll save your hair! it's ceramic, so it's much less damaging!

you should also invest in a protectant. i love paul mitchell super skinny serum. redken also has one called smooth down heat glide specifically for ironing. both work wonders and add a great, not greasy looking shine!

I can't say I have ever heard anything about this particular flat iron, but I know that FHI is the best around.

They can be found on amazon and overstock, and possibly through the FHI website.

I love mine!!! It makes my hair so silky and soft (with heat protectant of course).. I also recommend any Aveda products.
