I am preparing a Portobello Mushroom dish for Valentine's Day and I would like some feedback.

Recipe:

Portobello mushroom marinated with a balsamic glaze
Stuffed with Ricotta Cheese and spinach
Topped with a tomato slice coated in olive oil and Italian seasoning
With melted mozzarella cheese on top

Side dish is linguine with marinara sauce (mushrooms and garlic)

Please let me know what you think and if I can add anything or take anything out. That would be fantastic.

Thank you

man, that sounds good! since you are already having mushroom, maybe look for a different pasta dish that doesn't contain mushroom. i may not even do pasta and do some good crusty bread and a nice salad. i don't know that you need the pasta dish as a side. I would go for good bread and a really nice salad.

I preheat an oven to 425 levels, shrink off the thick stems and spoon out the black gills, upload a tab of olive oil and garlic salt, and sprinkle them with an excellent coating of parmesan cheese. Then I bake them for more beneficial or less 20 minutes. I examine in diverse places that portobellos do contain a touch poisonous factors, and must be cooked sufficiently so I continually be efficient you practice dinner them for a minimum of quarter-hour at four hundred levels or higher. they're delicious, esp. with melted cheese. in addition they make tremendous vegetarian burgers.

Mmmmm. Portobello mushrooms are deeeelliiiicciiiouusss! Stick with what you have, but, if you are old enough add red wine to the dish or a bottle of champagne.

If you would like, you can change the tomato slice topping from olive oil & seasoning, to creamy Italian. It is a bit thicker and makes a creamy white sauce for the meal.

Be sure to add bread and pesto mixed with olive oil.
