First of all, Ninjas did exist, but not the stereotypical type that everyone thinks of...they still use shuriken(ninja stars) and stuff, but they arent anything like what most people think. So, secondly, they cant jump over a house, anyone with common sense knows that...anymore 'ninja' questions, just ask. and i know what im talking about, i train in Ninjitsu also...

First of all, Ninja´s do still excist...
As do KarateKa´s...
The moment I walked in a Nin-Jutsu school (one day, just for the experience..) the guy teaching there gave me one positive experience...
And that was the one where he told me that if you´re a ninjitsu practitioner you´re ninja... (Straight from the start...).... Finally... I´m a NINJA!!!
...That for me also happened to be the only positive experience, because I hated the training, the philosophy, and the way in Nin Jutsu always shows how great it all is by hurting you, after saying ´Hit me like this´!
Ninjutsu, better known as Ninpo Tai Jutsu , still excists...
There were a lot of Ninja Clans in the past, the biggest were the Iga, and the Koga clan.
Nowadays the only surviving techniques derive from the Iga clan.
(If somebody speaks from the Koga-clan it´s usually because a man called Frank Dux, who may be a great figher, telling that he´s learned Koga Nin Jutsu, but research your web.... it´s a lie !)
Iga kung fu is (If I´m still up to date....) under the 34th Grand Master... Hatsumi Masaaki...
Back to the start.. yes, Ninja´s excist, but can they jump a house ?
Yeah probable, as long as the house isn´t to big !
...

Here's the deal:
In reality, very, very little is actually known about Ninja culture. By nature, ninjutsu was all about secrecy. Whenever you have a "secret" organization, all kinds of silly rumors pop up. Ninja were said to have the ability to become invisible, possess superhuman speed, and... yes... perform astonishing feats of strength like jump over houses.
The fact is that many Japanese scholars doubt that an organized force called "Ninja" ever really existed at all. It has been suggested that the Samurai simply refered to the various guerilla warriors who challenged their authority by this catch-all term, and that the idea of "Ninja warriors" really came from the Japanese Kabuki theaters. In other words, just like the Vikings (who never really wore horns on their helmets), much of what we think we know about the Ninja comes from ancient theater... sort of the television of Edo-period Japan.
If they did exist, you can bet that they were mortal men just like everybody else. They may have been accomplished warriors, but the idea that they could suspend the laws of physics and possess Batman-like invulnerability doesn't deserve much consideration.

No ....not a house entirely but they did practice many methods of increased jumping abilities due to the various forms of training they had. Not only the ninjas but also the Chinese developed different styles and forms off of animals such as the 29 forms of Shaolin.
Yes ...they did have ability to jump higher and such ...they actually dug holes of different depths in order to achieve the escape from each level.

No.
They were just normal people.
And yes it exists. check out bujinkan, jinenkan or genbukan but forget the rest.
If you want to train in this art make sure you do your home work before joining a dojo and that the shidoshi (instructor) is registered.

All Ninjas can leap houses up to two stories in height. From what I hear they aquired the skill for the purpose of avoiding pirates that would raid their town.
