My girlfriend and I have been dating for 14 months and we've decided that we are both ready to have sex, the only thing is that her mom knows, but my parents don't. Now I feel guilty because I hate lying to my parents and I have been caught lying and I hate the feeling.
When I'm with my girlfriend I feel ready, but whenever we are away from each other I question it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you are worried about what your parents think about this subject, you are probably too young to be having sex. Having said that, you should have sex when you are ready and not be pressured into it by anyone. If you love the person and are clear to each other on what your intentions are then knock yourself out. If the only thing holding you back is your mother or your parents then talk to them about it. That is what parents are for, for better or worse. Maybe they are saving you from a big mistake...you never know. Good Luck!

I dont' think that you really love her in the right way. There are different types of love. I'lm divorced after a 12 year year marriage and I loved my husband , but didn't want to have sex with him very often. I thought that it was because there was something wrong with me or that I just didn't have a sex drive anymore. The fact is that I wasn't with the right person. I have a boyfriend of two years now and we have sex 3 times a day and we both like it. I did have a sex drive but my relationship and communication wasn't good with my husband and therefore I had no sex drive with him. I think you need to take a deep look inside of yourself and figure out why you REALLY don't want to have sex with her.

If you feel guilty then it's pretty clear you're not ready to take on the responsiblity of sex. There's nothing wrong with it, but realize you're having 2nd thoughts and they're probably there for a reason. If it's meant to be then you can wait until you are truly ready. Nothing wrong with that.

Talk with your GF cause you are not yet ready and she may not be either. Waiting a few more months or till it feels right with and without each other will make it the best it could ever get and you both will have much more fun!

it means that you are truly not ready yet. anyway, you don't have to do it. sex is not really made to be part of the relationship. if you can wait until you both get married then better.
