The highest quality and most archivally stable digital print that is available on the market today is that which is made by a lightjet printer. However, these continuous tone printers are not just available anywhere as each printer costs around $200,000. The best place to get a lightjet print, or a inkjet print for that matter is at Calypso which sadly just moved to Santa Cruz. However, as a photographer I reccomend this place. There are of course other places to get a lightjet print in the bay area like Robyncolor in San Francisco, but I have never used their services before.
The only problem about a lightjet print is that they are expensive. A 20x30 print will cost you around $140 whereas an inkjet may cost you a little over half of that. But it is sometimes better to go for the best rather than having a gallery director or a client come back to you and complain that your work is sloppy and that your print is deteriorating. If you decide to go for an inkjet print then make sure that the printer uses the new Epson K3 inks as they are archivally more stable than other inks, I believe they are archival up to 200 years. Anyhow hope this helps, good luck.
